the bulk of our surf camps are 8-12 but about 10% are teenagers and they are grouped together.WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER SURFED BEFORE?

with our 3:1 ratio we have enough staff to work individually with a child to work with any anxiety or fearsCAN I STICK AROUND?
we do not recommend this because of performance anxiety and from experience with my own 2 little ones, they thrive much better when i am not around. If you choose to, we ask that you stay where the child can not see you unless you are taking photos of course :) It is also difficult to know who is watching them if they are with you.ARE SWIMMING SKILLS REQUIRED?
only for our surfing and SUP camps/classes. We do one on one surfing & boogie boarding in the beach camp. WHAT IS THE RATIO?

Yes, everyone is CPR, First Aid and AED certified and the lead instructors are lifeguard certifiedWHAT IF IT RAINS?
we love surfing in the rain unless lightening or heavy rains. If the conditions do not permit, we will reschedule your lesson or camp.WHAT IF SURF or CONDITIONS ARE NOT SAFE?
We still hold camp. We supplement with beach games and do smaller groups in the water if safe enough.DO YOU OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS?

YES! That is what is great about our camps. You have to reserve the days in advance but can move them before 24hours with no fee.DO YOU OFFER SIBLING DISCOUNTS?

we allow 2 sick days to be made up per yearCAN WE CANCEL IF WE NEED TO?
Our camps fill up so cancellations need to be done 2 weeks before our camp sessions begin and a $25 registration fee will be applied to the card on fileCAN WE MOVE DAYS?
yes, you can log into your account and uncheck the days you want to move and check the days you want to move to before 24hours of the start date without any fees. If needed within 24hours there is a $15 admin fee and you will need to call the office. We hope you try to give us at least 3-4 days notice so we can adjust the schedule accordingly to keep our ratios in tact.WHAT DO WE BRING TO CAMP?
lunch, snacks, bottle water (refills available), towel, sweatshirt, hat, sunscreen, warm change of clothes, wetsuit if you have one (we provide them), boogie boards are shared so bring yours if you want to & label all gear. Also, money is optional for restaurants, the pier stores, farmers market runs & camp hat. This is automatically emailed to you along with directions when you register.WHAT DO WE BRING TO LESSONS?
